TECHNICAL ISSUES:     Most technical issues can be resolved by referring to the system requirements noted below. For any other technical issue, you may reach the Personnel Cabinet using the Provide Feedback form, available at https://personnel.ky.gov/_layouts/15/PersFeedBack/PersFeedBack.aspx

KHRIS help (such as Time Entry and Data Maintenance issues), please contact your HR Admin who can address your concern and/or open a ticket with the KHRIS technical team if needed.

Known Issues:            Firefox browsers may not display important message pop-ups. It is recommended to use Edge or Chrome browsers.  
  


 General KHRIS Portal Requirements
Browser Versions recommended for the KHRIS portal:  Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Safari (tablets and Mac), Android Internet**, Firefox**, Apple IOS

**May experience limited KHRIS functionality
Pop-up Blockers: 
  • Pop-up blockers MUST be TURNED OFF to use KHRIS.
  • Pop-up blockers prevent pop-up windows from opening. This protects you from unwanted advertising solicitations.
  • If your pop-up blocker security settings are set to "on", some content may also be inadvertently blocked. 
    • Use these instructions to turn them off: 
      • Edge - Click Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Open Pop-ups and redirects > Turn off Block.
      • Chrome - Click Settings > Privacy and Security > Site settings > Open Pop-ups and redirects > Ensure that pop-ups are allowed.
Tablets and mobile devices vary regarding how to turn off pop-up blockers, please refer to your device user guide.
Screen resolution: 
  • If your resolution is below 1280 x 960, some items may not fit on the screen.
  • Zooming your screen to more than 100% may cause issues, therefore, it is recommended to keep your screen at 100%.
Viewing Salary Statement, Time Statement etc.(KHRIS forms):Attention Chrome users!

To view a pdf document in the KHRIS portal, you MUST complete these steps (Includes Salary statement and Time statement)
  • Open Chrome > Go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Site Settings > PDF Documents
  • Toggle from Download PDFs to Open PDFs in Chrome
The most recent version of Adobe Reader should be installed to correctly view/display forms. To get the most recent version, go to https://get.adobe.com/reader/ or contact your technical support admin.
